This guy advertises pure bred quaterhorses and upon replying mailed me and said that I could have one for free just pay the traveling fees R3500 so I had a look at what else he had to sell and has a lot of horses for sal in cities like East London, Port Elisabeth, Cape Town, Joburg, Pretoria. While looking at all his horses I note that he has the same horse for sale as three different horses and he currently mails me from a address delcostapedro@yahoo.com he wants so send the horse through his traveling agency and I could not go pick it up as the horse is in East London and I a residing in Namibia. The traveling agency calls me and I couldn`t hear a word he was saying so he puts the phone down. I see the number i bogus (+34918386080).He calls again and again bogus number (+918382248) and I could not hear a word he was saying. So this morning the traveling agency mails me and I must say it is the most pathetic mail I have ever seen from the adress animaldeliveries@london.com they need the money and should be paid to western union or money gram their south african account are being audited. The photos are international fotos some american some europe. Their information has holes some info doesn`t apply to horse and their response is slow and they are dumb. So I informed www.dealfish.co.za yesterday and this guy is still selling horses. We sould warn other people!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi
My daugher and I were recently scammed. We saw and add for a Yorkshire terrior named Tilly, decided to purchase her after numerous e mails with the breeder, a Mr Jaco Fourie from Bloemfontein. A sum of R1 500 had to be paid in to an Absa account, which I did. Then I was told that I had to pay in a further R1 150 for an electronic crate and two vacinations, which I did. All along I was receiveing e mails and calls from Mr Fourie and a Mr Chris Gold from a company called PET TRAVEL INTERNATIONAL, the day that she was surposed to arrive (after i had received an e mail confirming the flight details) i received another e mail stating that she did not have a life insurance and I had to pay in R5 250 immediately. I refused. MR Fourie said he would pay it in and I will receive it back when the puppy arrives and then i must just deposit it in his account, not long afterwards I received another e mail from him saying that he could not come up with all the money and that I now only need to help him with R2 150, I refused. I had a friend on holiday in Bloem and said that he was to please give my friend the puppy to bring down to me. Now the story became that the Pet Travel Company would not release the puppy. MR Fourie no longer has a phone as he says he lost his phone. Two days ago he sent a mail stating that if I Paid R2 000 we could close the deal as he came up with the rest.

I realize that I have been scammed, but hope against all hope I still hope that it isnt.

I feel desperate ! I am sure I was caught in a spam. I replied on an advert for two puppies needing a home and started to correspond with the lady who placed the advert. Everything said above by "Animal Travel" is happening to me. Animal Travels name was on one of my emails. When I tried tracing Animal Travel Agency via Telkom, they gave me a telephone number that did not exist when I phoned. Then the request for payments started. First money for the "SPECIAL" crates for the two puppies, the name of the account did not match the account number, the back informed me, then I was given another name and bank account nr. Then another account was requested to be paid for "OWNERSHIP CHANGES". And every time it was another name and bank number I had to pay in. Then I was requested to pay insurance on the puppies. Now I am requested to pay another R5500 for the animals safety. Of course, as the emails states, which is all repayable back on delivery of the puppies to me. I even had a option for cash or bank transfer !!!!!!! So far the payments made to them is R9100-00 still excluding the R5500 they now want for the "safety of the animals" . I have used up all my salary for this month and went into overdraft -which I dont have - so expecting a call from the bank tomorrow to refund the overdraft back in my account. I refused to pay the extra amount of R5500-00, I dont have any money left for the month, and I am sure this is a scam. I told the " husband" of the lady who advertised the puppies (have never spoken to her on the phone) that I cannot pay anymore as I dont have the money, and that I am going to the authorities on Monday morning to investigate. I am completely shattered by my experience, you always believe this wont happen to you, and I am a real trustworthy person. Which has now landed me in a probably daily scam. The Couriers on the email is listed Is "Delivery Consultant Express Courier" no names or telephone numbers or address. WILL I EVER GET MY MONEY BACK???? WHAT MUST I DO - NOW I AM WITHOUT PUPPIES AND MONEY FOR THE MONTH. HOW CAN PEOPLE USE NON EXISTING ANIMALS FROM A ANIMAL LOVER AND STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! Heartbroken is a soft word, I dont think there is a way to express my feelings !!!!!!!

I ordered a marmoset monkey from PE. Everything was fine untill I had to R3852.00 for insurance into a private bank account. The website looks legit can even track. Then I was told there is a delay at OR Thambo. Phoned OR Thambo, no marmosets for the last two days. Also phoned state vet in Bloemfontein because
I know you do not need permits to keep marmosets. I was scammed! Beware of the following realpets4life@gmail.com, ptint@consultant.com, diseasecontrol@africamail.com.

This scam is still going on currently busy with the free Yorkie Terrier scam effort - Confirmed yesterday that I can receive two of these puppies
This morning early received confirmation that they had already been taken to the transporting company cost of transport R1050
Asked for a contact number which I have now received
The spelling and grammar and spelling on the email is poor - when I asked if this was a scam became agressive saying hate the scam word and can look elsewhere for a puppy I am now waiting to see if they make contact with me again.
When advert was posted listed as Pretoria address - when I made contact was advised that the puppies are in East London.
Surely the advertisers should be more selective on what is posted on these web sites?
